Simone Brown in Jamaica posing with two children

Giving has always been part of Simone's DNA but at 26, she spent a month doing missions work in Jamaica and it changed her life forever. Two months later, she left the corporate sector, uprooted her life from New Brunswick to Calgary, to work with the homeless.

Simone is now the founder of The 1911 Tribe - an initiative that helps women address the challenges that hold them back in their careers. The forum is a way for women to identify solutions that strengthen their contribution to the world.
